Ingredients
- 1/3 cup plain bread crumbs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 onion, diced
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 lb ground pork (Italian sausage)
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 bunch fresh parsley
- 3 cloves garlic, crushed
- 2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1 tsp dried Italian seasoning
- 2 tbsp grated parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Line baking sheet with foil and spray with non-stick spray.
- Soak bread crumbs in milk for 20 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 425°F.
- Heat olive oil in skillet. Cook & stir onions for 20 minutes, or at your desired consistency.
- Mix all spices, eggs, and bread crumb mixture together.
- Mix above mixture with the ground beef and sausage.
- Using hands, or a cookie scoop, form into balls.
- Bake until browned, about 15-20 minutes.
