Italian Meatballs

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup plain bread crumbs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 lb ground pork (Italian sausage)
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 bunch fresh parsley
  • 3 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1 tsp dried Italian seasoning
  • 2 tbsp grated parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Line baking sheet with foil and spray with non-stick spray.
  2. Soak bread crumbs in milk for 20 minutes.
  3. Preheat oven to 425°F.
  4. Heat olive oil in skillet. Cook & stir onions for 20 minutes, or at your desired consistency.
  5. Mix all spices, eggs, and bread crumb mixture together.
  6. Mix above mixture with the ground beef and sausage.
  7. Using hands, or a cookie scoop, form into balls.
  8. Bake until browned, about 15-20 minutes.
