Ingredients

  • 10-12 manicotti, al denté
  • 15oz ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup mozarella, shredded
  • 3 tbsp parmesan
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp dried parsley
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp black pepper
  • marinara sauce

Instructions

  1. Prepare manicotti noodles as directed for al denté.
  2. Preheat the oven to 375°F.
  3. Make the filling by combining the cheeses, egg, parsley, sugar, salt and pepper.
  4. Pour half of the marinara sauce into the pan.
  5. Fill each noodle with cheese filling. Place noodles on top of sauce in pan. Pour remaining sauce over the noodles.
  6. Cover with foil and bake 35-40 minutes.
