Ninja Roasted Chicken Legs

Ingredients

  • 6-8 chicken drumsticks – skin-on
  • 2 tbsp olive oil – extra-virgin
  • 1 tbsp Himalayan salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • ¼ tsp cayenne pepper

Instructions

  1. Using the Ninja Grill/Airfryer, preheat with roast setting at 400°F.
  2. Make the seasoning paste: In a medium bowl, mix the olive oil, kosher salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, and cayenne pepper with a fork or a spatula.
  3. Dump the seasoning paste and the chicken legs in a gallon bag. Shake around until all are coated in the mixture. Place chicken legs in the Ninja using the air-fryer tray.
  4. Cook the drumsticks uncovered for about 28 minutes, until their internal temperature, measured with a thermometer and not touching a bone, reaches 165°F.

If using conventional oven:

  • Preheat oven to 400°F and cook uncovered for about 40m.
