Ingredients

  • 6 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves minced garlic, or more if you’re into it
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 tbsp dried parsley
  • 2 15oz cans diced tomatoes
  • 2 8oz cans tomato sauce
  • 1/2 tsp basil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in pan. Sauté the onion, garlic, and parsley until onions are transparent.
  2. Add all other ingredients. Simmer uncovered for 20-30 minutes.

Tips

  • crushed tomatoes can be a good sub for diced if texture is issue.
